These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Verifeo website, dashboard, verification services, background screening tools, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing, registering, or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and any related policies published on the platform.

By creating an account, submitting verification requests, or accessing the Verifeo platform, you agree to comply with these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must discontinue using the Services.

To use Verifeo Services, you must meet the following requirements:

• Be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction).
• Have the legal authority to enter into a binding agreement.
• Provide accurate and complete registration information, including valid business and contact details.
• Use the platform only for lawful purposes and in compliance with applicable employment, privacy, and data protection laws.

Verifeo provides secure, tech-driven verification services, including (but not limited to):

• Background checks and screening for hiring and compliance.
• Identity verification and document validation.
• Onboarding verification workflows.
• Know Your Customer (KYC) and Know Your Employee (KYE) checks.
• Re-verification and ongoing monitoring options.
• Fraud detection and risk signals (where applicable).

Verifeo acts as a verification facilitator and data processor. We do not guarantee hiring outcomes or employment decisions.

By using Verifeo, you agree to:

• Submit accurate and lawful verification requests.
• Obtain proper candidate consent before initiating checks.
• Use reports only for legitimate hiring, onboarding, or compliance purposes.
• Protect account credentials and prevent unauthorized access.
• Comply with all relevant employment laws and data protection regulations in your jurisdiction.
• Not misuse data, engage in fraud, or attempt to bypass platform security.

Users must ensure candidates are informed and have provided valid consent for verification. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of Verifeo complies with applicable laws (including employment screening, privacy, and data handling rules). Verifeo is not responsible for any non-compliance by users.

Verifeo is designed with security-first principles, including secure infrastructure, encryption, and controlled access. Users must keep verification data confidential and limit access to authorized personnel only. This obligation continues even after account termination.

Verifeo makes reasonable efforts to provide accurate verification results. However, reports may be based on third-party sources and data availability varies by region. Verifeo does not guarantee that results are complete, uninterrupted, or error-free. Verification reports should be used as part of a broader hiring or compliance process.
